General Info
Camp Acorn is a summer/winter social and recreational program for children and young adults with multiple disabilities. We offer a therapeutic and instructional program that develops fine motor, gross motor and transitional skills- while it builds confidence and self esteem skills. All activities are adapted to the individual needs of each camper.
At Camp Acorn, we provide a supportive environment which fosters social and personal growth as the camper interacts with disabled and non-disabled peers. Our campers learn to try a variety of creative and challenging activities and experience success. Our campers develop an enhanced self-esteem which carries over into all aspect of their lives.
