Established in 2001, Camp Acorn was founded with a heartfelt mission: to cultivate unique experiences that nurture individual growth and foster a sense of belonging. With a diverse range of activities tailored to each camper’s abilities and interests, Camp Acorn is more than just a program—it’s a supportive and inclusive haven where every camper is celebrated for their uniqueness, encouraged to explore new horizons, and embraced as an integral part of our family. 💚 25 years of Camp Acorn
On September 15, 2001, Camp Acorn opened its doors for the very first time. It’s hard to believe that 25 years have passed since that day.
Over the years, we’ve had the incredible privilege of watching so many of our campers grow up right before our eyes, from young children to teenagers, young adults, and adults. We’ve watched friendships begin, grow, and last for years. We’ve laughed together, celebrated milestones together, and made more memories than we could ever count.
Somewhere along the way, Camp Acorn became so much more than a program. It became a family.
We feel incredibly lucky to have spent the last 25 years surrounded by such amazing individuals and families who have allowed us to be part of their lives and who have become such an important part of ours.
